January has been a crazy month which is why it has been so long since I have posted. Today I wanted to give you some updates on how my goals for this year have been going.
I have been working out quite often, but not to the extent that I had hoped. I did start doing yoga this past week which has become one of the best decisions that I have made. Doing yoga has relaxed my muscles and had made my body feel so much better than it has been. I am also doing cardio 2-3 times a week. I like walking and jump roping.
Eating healthy has been the biggest struggle for me. I am a very emotional person and I am an emotional eater. I do choose healthier foods more often than I used to which is a great start and I know that this goal is going to take more that one month to accomplish. The plan is to continue to work on incorporating new healthier foods into my diet and to decrease the number of unhealthy foods I am consuming.
I have been struggling to post once a week. There is not an excuse there except that I have not felt inspired to write. I have been looking up new inspiration and am working on coming up with new and creative content that is just as exciting for you to read as it is for me to write.
As for some of the other goals, I have plans for visiting different cities in the summer. I will be going to Tennessee for a week in May and then to Las Vegas and California for a total of ten days in July. I will be sharing much of my travels when those voyages take place.
My boyfriend has a keyboard and I am going to have him start teaching me some piano skills when we have some free time. This month has been a very crazy start to the new year.
